Unique Beauty

This photograph was taken on our recent trip to the conservatory of a local garden.

This particularly vibrant blossom graced a bed of silver grasses in the Desert Foliage Room.
I loved the contrast of orange and gray tones.

The beauty of the contrast made me think of our lives. 

We are each individuals with unique personalities, talents, and gifts;
created by the Designer to uniquely shine.
I can not help but be amazed and grateful.

415.  playing board games with my oldest daughter, just the two of us

416.  reading The Foot Book with my youngest, who has parts of it memorized

417.  rainy days that result in more time inside playing and expanding the children's imaginations and creativity

418.  smell of pumpkin bread baking in the oven

419.  reading The Prodigal God, by Timothy Keller

420.  serious and silly conversations with my husband
