Thank You, God, for Loving Me {a review}
If you are familiar with Max Lucado's Hermie and garden friends, then you easily recognize the characters on the front cover.
My children love the stories about Hermie and his friends. The story lines and characters always keep their interest. Flo and Buzby are among their cherished books. So, when I was given an opportunity to review Thank You, God, for Loving Me, by Max Lucado, I thought it would be similar to these books, but written for toddlers and preschool ages. I was wrong.
The book is better! Filled with a prayer of gratitude that young children can easily understand and relate to, the words captivate young ones. The prayer covers God's love, presence, protection, and guidance. Accompanying illustrations are sweet and lovely to gaze upon.
The book, itself, is a durable board book of about six pages with four short rhyming lines printed on each open face set.

I received Thank You, God, for Loving Me from Tommy Nelson through Booksneeze in exchange for my honest review.

I had the honor of meeting Max Lucado at a church in Kentucky when our homeschool family was living there for a year. (2009 - 2010) he is a wonderful speaker- look forward to reading this book!
