Consider it pure joy, my brothers,
whenever you face trials of many kinds,
because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.
Perseverance must finish its work
so that you may be mature and complete,
not lacking anything.
James 1:2-4 NASB (emphasis mine)
I lift up my eyes to the hills-
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD,
the maker of heaven and earth.
Psalm 121:1-2 NASB (emphasis mine)

You are right, our help should always and only come from the Lord. It's a lesson that I am slowly learning over time.
