How often when I see and eat fresh fruit am I reminded of the blessings of the LORD!
Just last week, we were picking strawberries on the final day of the season,
but it also happened to be the first day to pick cherries.
It made me think of how when one thing ends another begins,
like seasons through out the year
and seasons in our lives.
Through it all, God is good!
Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good!
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
Psalm 34:8
In context: Psalm 34

wonderful verse. I love that the flavor of the Lord never gets old. It is new every day. Our strawberry season is just starting up here in New Hampshire. I plan on going at some point over the weekend.

ReplyDeleteYes that verse always speaks to me. In a foodie world and I have to admit to be a bit of a foodie at heart, the taste is something that is so celebrated,
ReplyDeleteBut nothing is as good as this call.....taste and see.....that the Lord is good.
Oh that we could as easily get our friends to taste of Him, as they will the latest food we have made.
He is faithful and provides for his children! Thanks for sharing this wonderful truth!
