Reflecting

"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
And we, who with unveiled faces

all reflect the Lord's glory,
are being transformed into his likeness

with ever-increasing glory,
which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."
II Corinthians 3:17-18  NIV

Even though it is not always easy,
and at times the experiences can be down right difficult,
I am grateful for this transforming process,
changing me to be more like Him.
And, I continue to marvel
at how He can shine His glory
through my imperfect walk in this life.
Thank you, Lord!

  8. Dorie,

I had to do a double-take when I read the part in the scripture that states we are to reflect HIS glory. This means it's HIS glory we are to reflect and not ours!

Very humbling, indeed! Thank you for sharing this today. I needed the reminder.

Thanks so much for the encouragement--as well as stopping over to my blog, Dorie! God's Word is just very refreshing and vitalizing. I am hoping to reflect more of Him and less of me. Let His Glory SHINE through US!
