Bright Days {and a giveaway}

The sun shone brightly, the sky patched with white puffy clouds, and the temperatures hovered around 50 degrees.  It was time to get out and enjoy the beautiful day. 


When we moved a few years ago, we did not take our swing set with us.  It was the right thing to do, as it was one of those beautifully landscaped, backyard swing sets type.  The children, as well as my husband and I, hope to eventually get one for our current house. 


Unfortunately, it is one of those large purchases that keeps getting pushed down on our list.   To compensate, we regularly visit the local parks. 


This past Tuesday, we did just that.  Packing up all four children and our dog, we headed to a 300+ acre park complete with paved walking trails and playground equipment. 

Our fun afternoon spent in sunshine and warmth reminded me that spring will soon burst forth in abundant blessings of showers and flowers.

    Oh how much fun your boys are having! We've only been able to make 1 trip to the playground so far - I am hoping for more as the weather gets nicer :)

    For the contest, I LOVE the blooming flowers and the arrival of the birds back from the south.

    Today I am not liking the soaking rainy spring day; however, I know that green grass and beauty will be arriving very soon! Lilacs are my favorite scent of spring...and they are beautiful!

    I love spring 110%!! :) Tulips are my favorite flower, birds singing, fresh breeze, open windows, rain showers, fluffy clouds, and so much more!! :)

    I really love the Jersey sheet set in Spring Tanya for my husband and I's bed! :)

    I need to take my kids to a park...even in the snow, it would be a refreshing change! :)
