Tuesday found us at a natural history museum. There we explored an African watering hole, saw dinosaur bones, examined minerals, and discovered who lives in trees.
Later in the week, we went to an industrial museum. There we guessed the purposes of various inventions, learned about scientific discoveries of the recent past, and participated in Industrial Revolution life activities like hand washing clothing and writing with quill pens.
Both days offered fun filled activities and great field trip opportunities to kick off the new school year!
