This is a simple project my daughters and I finished last night.
They learned how to sew buttons by hand.
The project was 'sew' easy, and took 'sew' little time.
(Sorry, I couldn't resist the word play.)

Yet, the results are sweet,
and the handiwork will grace our table each dinner this holiday season.

Those turned out lovely. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSew cute! :) These are lovely additions to the table and especially nice since you were able to do this with your daughters. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYour daughters will remember you creating these beautiful, simple fall and Christmas napkin rings each year you use them as a family. My kids, in their late 20's remember the ones I made (and posted about) over 20 years ago fondly. They will rise up and call you blessed! Well done, faithful servant. The act of planning and carrying out (with patience and love)the design is deceptively simple, but carries great eternal weight. Praying that your offering will influence others as well. Thanks for stopping by my blog. blessings on your day!
ReplyDeleteAwww, what a lovely idea! I wish we'd thought of something like this when my kids were little. We do, however, have ornaments that they made so we do get to enjoy those.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to Making Your Home Sing Monday!
So cute! My daughter is involved in a Keepers At Home group for young girls that are being raised with the Titus 2 end in view. We needed a cute craft to utilize the skill of sewing on a button. Thank you for the idea.
