We wanted snow.
It was 50 degrees.
I found some plastic snow flakes and a few snowmen decorations in the attic. Dispersing them through the house I thought it would bring a smile or two.
No one was fooled.
It was plastic snow.
It was snow of white felt.
It was a wooden snowman painted white.
We wanted real snow.
Then, yesterday, we awoke to find...
snow!
A dusting at best, but real snow.
It lasted four hours after the sun rose,
but for four hours we basked in the blessing of real snow.

We are jealous! It is in the 60s here in Texas. We would LOVE snow!
ReplyDeleteSince I live in a climate where it does not snow, it's difficult for me to comprehend the fact that you and your family are desiring snowfall! :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm glad you enjoyed your brief "snow moment." :)
Awe - love it! We still didn't get snow in jersey, but Philly got a dusting!
