I made a mistake.
A huge mistake.
A huge egg mistake.
Last week, I bought too many eggs.
We had lots of eggs.
More than two dozen.
More than three dozen.
More than four dozen.
Yes, I admit it.
We had 4 1/2 dozen eggs in our refrigerator.
Eggs don't last forever.
They must be used.
Use them, we did.
I made Potatoes & Eggs.
I made Fried Egg Sandwiches.
I made French Toast.
I made anything that I could think of that had eggs in it.
We ate the Potatoes & Eggs.
We ate the Fried Egg Sandwiches.
We ate the French Toast.
We ate all the eggs baked into other dishes.
We still have eggs left.
I think I'll go scramble some for breakfast,
and maybe use some eggs as a side dish for lunch.
Good thing we like eggs!
Oh, that cracks me up! (haha...I didn't intend the pun.)
ReplyDeleteThe kids could even practice cracking eggs open with all the extras! We like eggs too, and typically have more than a dozen in the fridge...but not 4 1/2!
