My younger daughter is studying about Daniel in her individual Bible studies. As I help her grapple with the truths and navigate through the study, I, too, am learning. This week we read of Daniel's faith, and these words, said by Daniel, echo in my head as I see the seasons changing in our own backyard.
"Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,
to whom belong wisdom and might.
He changes times and seasons;
he removes kings and sets up kings;
he gives wisdom to the wise
and knowledge to those who have understanding;
he reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what is in the darkness,
and the light dwells with him."

"...the light dwells with Him." Oh, Holy God, you are amazing. When I read these words His Spirit within me explodes with joy and I got goosebumps on my arms. Quite a combination.
I studied the book of Daniel several years ago and fell in love with Him more. I'm sure your daughter will, too.
